Bason Company is a wholesale distributor of computer hard drives and components, including disk arrays, hard drive controllers, and accessories. Doing business as Bason Computer, the reseller stocks computers and peripherals from a variety of vendors, including Dell, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, NEC, Quantum, Seagate, and Toshiba. The company was established in 1985 and began manufacturing its own drives in 1991. Bason has offered online buying since 1999. The company also repairs tape drives and libraries. Bason is owned by Ren-Jey Yeh, the president of the company.
