There are two persons on the technical interviews. The person who asked the technical questions wasn't experienced.

Technical Interview: Engineers assess the candidate's problem-solving abilities, coding skills, and understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Behavioral Interview: Evaluates teamwork, communication, and problem-solving approaches.
