Allzu emphatischen waren meine Gesprächspartner auch nicht, aber muss ja auch nicht.

Applied online. Screening interview via Skype with HR and the hiring manager, followed by an in-person inteview about two months later. The entire process probably took about 3 months. The in-person interview was heavy on presentation. You are given 10m to give a presentation on anything, followed by a case. The case is unusual because you're given a single sheet of paper with the case question, and are then asked to conduct research online to support your conclusion. If you cannot type on a German keyboard, you will need to bring your own laptop. If you bring your own laptop, you will need to ensure that the security settings on your computer do not conflict with their firewall; you will not be given extra time to correct the problem - I probably lost 10-15m of my 30m of prep time trying to fix my IT issue.
