first I met with HR during the first interview; I think it only lasted about 10 minutes. They read the questions from a sheet of paper in front of them and took notes—the questions were pretty basic. It actually went well. Then they said the CEO would call, so I gave them a one-hour time slot based on my availability. My conversation with the CEO didn’t even last 5 minutes—I think he just asked why I was leaving my current job and hung up. The next day, I saw that the job posting I applied for had been reposted. Even though two weeks have passed, I haven’t received any feedback—positive or negative—and they haven’t responded to the emails I sent either. I think it’s completely unprofessional to treat a candidate who came all the way to their office for an interview without even asking any screening questions like that.
