      Project Manager Interview

      Sep 19, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at innocent

      Interview

The first interview was with HR, standard questions, nothing difficult. Then I spoke to the Manager of the project department. We had a nice conversation and I progressed to the third stage of the interview, which was to prepare a presentation. The presentation required a lot of preparation and asked three questions, one of which was to prepare specific solutions tailored to the company. I was asked to keep the presentation to 20 minutes long which I did. They kept interrupting the presentation, asking for specific solutions to the company and the project. Finally, I had no offer, however they required the presentation to be sent to them prior to the interview.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at innocent (London, England) in May 2025

      Interview

The interview process was well-structured and wrapped up within three weeks, which I really appreciated given how nerve-wracking job applications can be. It was a three-stage process: 1. Initial Virtual Interview – This was a video call with my now-manager and their manager. It focused on alignment of values, team fit, and motivations. 2. Case Study Presentation – This stage required quite a bit of preparation. The case study was interesting and relevant to the role, and I presented my findings to two team members. 3. Final In-Person Interview – Held at their office, this included a meeting with HR and my future manager. I also got a tour of the office and even got to take home a few smoothies! Throughout the process, HR were excellent with comms and overall, it was a positive experience that made me excited about joining the team.
