      Commercial Manager Interview

      Oct 5, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at innocent (London, England) in Mar 2018

      Interview

It was long, hard work and thorough but very worthy in the end. It was a meant to be a 2 steps process that ended up being 3 steps because the original vacancy had been internally filled but my manager really wanted me in the team so he worked out a way of getting me on board. 1- Quick phone interview - walk me through your CV (I asked many questions and he liked that but it is up to the manager) 2- Business exercise - I have done lots throughout my career and this was the most thorough, longest and demanding I have done until today. You present it to you potential manager and a colleague. Then you have a competency based questionnaire from the People Team to test the fit with the company - just be yourself (in line with one of the values) 3- Met with Commercial Director and Grocery controller - informal interview with chat and questions from both sides.
