I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at idealo internet (Berlin)
Interview
After into call with their team lead, they gave a test assignment - to develop a simple web service with web ui. It was pretty easy, I knew how to implement it immediately after I had read the description. I had to complete it in four days, which is more than enough. However, later they told me that they had candidates who could not complete it in a week or more, that's funny ;-)
After I had done the task, we had a skype discussion with a team, mainly about my test assignment. Then they invited me to fly to Berlin to their office.
In Berlin we discussed the implementation of my test assignment once again. I thought the team was satisfied with it, though there were minor issues that could be improved. I also had a brief meeting with an HR, discussing general HR topics and relocation details.
On the next day, they told me they dislike my motivation. This is strange to me. If the motivation is so much important, why not clarify it before giving a test assignment and making me fly to their office?

The process was three fold: An intro interview with Recruitee, getting to know me and letting me know more information on the company and job post. A tech test, using an online platform called Codility. And last a final interview with two parts: A technical part reviewing the test and other technical questions, and a cultural part to get to know me more. I then received an offer.
