The interview was in 3 parts. First, the recruiter reached out to me and had a 30 minute phone screen to see if I was fit for the position. Then she passed along her notes to the hiring manager. I had to wait a couple weeks to hear back until I finally reached out myself to get an update. The hiring manager then had a 30 minute phone interview with me to see if I would be good for her team. Finally, I got invited to the in-person interview, which was 3 hours long. This consisted of a panel of 4 other people, including the hiring manager, all at 30 minutes. I arrived at the interview and my interview started late so the timing was off. Everyone seemed to want to get a "feel for who I was as a person" to see if I'd fit in with the culture at the company. I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to hear back. Funny enough, I was on LinkedIn and saw that the same position was posted only a couple hours ago and that's how I knew I did not get the job. I then got a generic email that said they'd be moving forward with someone else. But I guess I already knew when I saw the post being re-posted. Funny enough, the position is still open. Guess I wasn't who they wanted.
