inautix has started new office in Magarpatta city Pune & hence they are hiring in bulk. This was walk in happened on 10 Dec 2011 for Mainframe technology(3-8 years Exp). I got the call through consultancy. I reached early in the morning at 9 am as this was a walk in. HR gave me a Form. This form is nothing but giving information about yourself, your education & the company's you worked for. After handing over the filled form to HR you have to wait for your turn. After 2 hour I got my turn. Technical Interview panel consist of 1 people each & there were only 4 such panel for a walk in where around 150 people came. Hence the process is very slow. My interview started with Tell me about yourself question , followed by current project related question like your role & responsibilities. Then focus shifted to more technical questions as below 1.COBOL i) Difference between Search & Search All ii) Static & Dynamic call, which one you will prefer & When. Tell the practical example iii) How to Display Comp, Comp-3 variables. iv) Many other simple but tricky questions 2. CICS i) Different pseudo conversation techniques ii) Difference between TDQ & TSQ iii) Paging Logic iv) Dynamic attribute setting v) Many other practical cics questions. DB2 & JCL questions were also simple but tricky. Overall interview was fine. They will ask lot of practical mainframe questions & if you have worked you can easily answer them, They dont want any bookish answer. If you clear technical round it will be followed by Manager round. HR round happens over a phone from Chennai.
