      Software Engineer Interview

      May 3, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at iManage in Apr 2022

      Interview

4 rounds total, first was typical phone screening, the second was more in depth technical interview with head of department. Asked some basic questions about enterprise experience, projects completed, and some Data Structure 101 type questions to test competency. 3 and 4 were coding interviews. The first was a more a leetcode type problem with 2 software engineers. Although I struggled a bit they gave me a couple hints and eventually I solved the problem. Ask questions at the end. Was told that generally solving the problem is enough and there isn't much optimization that goes on as long as everything can be automated. Made it to 4th round after over a week of silence. Asked 2 more coding problems by the same 2 engineers and the head of department. Completed both and was asked to optimize both for efficiency. Both lasted 1 hour each. After 4 rounds and another week and a half of silence was told they went with another candidate.

      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at iManage (London, England) in Nov 2023

      Interview

Two rounds of an interview process. First with the hiring manger and another developer, just to talk over say non technical stuff, see if you'd fit. Second round with two senior engineers to go over coding problems. Fairly straight forward. HR was very responsive initially to help and make accommodations, once the interview process was over I received radio silence. Several follow up emails later and still no response. Disappointing due to other reviews stating the opposite of this.

      Software Developer Interview

      Mar 16, 2019

      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at iManage (Milwaukee, WI)

      Interview

I had an interview with a recruiter and then I had a phone interview with a senior developer, nothing afterwards. Both lasted about 30 minutes. The first just asked simple questions like where do you go to school and do you know what Java is? The second one started out with what general experience I have and what projects that I worked on. Afterwords we went into some technical questions which were overall easy if you know things about Java Stacks and Databases. The guy was pretty chill and was understanding if I didn't know a concept and helped walk me through it. At the end he kept asking me if I had any questions and I didn't but I also had class to attend so I had no chance to ask anything more. It seemed like he really wanted me to ask more questions but I wasn't sure what I could ask.
