      Software Developer Interview

      May 25, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      İzmir
      Declined offer
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at broadAngle (İzmir) in Feb 2019

      Interview

It took 2 weeks. First, they made phone interview about test your english level after that you are invited for the technical interview. In technical interview they ask coding question and database question. They refused my application despite of I answered all their stupid, easy questions truly. It was totaly waste of time. They play with the people and one more thing, they don't give a feedback to you, if you don't ask to them. And for the company culture, I can say they are little non-corporate typical boss company.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The coding question was writing a program which creates an array from zero to one hundred and if the number can be divided into three writing broad and if the number can be divided into four writing angle. It was that kind of easy question. The database question was about creating a stupid little database diagram and writing select queries with join on the whiteboard.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at broadAngle (İzmir)

      Interview

Interview has two stages. First, I had 15-minute phone call with hr to test english level. Besides english test, I got questions about salary expectation, technologies that I use in my projects and other informations about my cv. If you pass the english, they will invite you to make face to face interview. Second, I had face to face interview with hr and heads of dev team. This stage has 3 steps; IT questions, hands-on programming questions and database questions. IT questions part is english also. If you pass this stage, you will get an offer. This whole process took only 2 weeks. I got an offer but salary was way below my expectations. They try to make an offer even if it's not related with candidate's expectations. Its a small company, people are nice and kind. I would work if the salary is good.
