I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at bp (London, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
Telephone interview, face to face technical interview and assessment centre. Values are key throughout, should try and have some knowledge of the way BP make decisions and work as a team. However feedback as to why I didn't get the position was fairly unclear, so can't give advice on where I went wrong.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Decide between two countries to operate in, technical questions, if you moved into a new country what would you do etc.
The interview process was fair and objective. It followed a structured-interview style and ensured that I felt comfortable in the process. I was given the opportunity to ask any questions I may have had at the end of the interview, as well as throughout it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a variety of questions, most of those competency based.
Online test, followed by video interview, followed by phone interview. Generally, the same as many other graduate jobs. Interviewer on phone was very kind and reassuring. Keep BP values in mind.
After completing the online tests, I was invited to an interview 2 months after applying. The questions were fairly simple, only competency based - why this industry, why BP, why this role. It is important to really show an understanding and interest in the industry.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you learned something from groupwork.
