      Interview

I want to share my hiring process experience with Antoni. I applied for a Graphic Designer position and went through three interview stages. The first was a conversation with HR - it was very pleasant, and I was invited to the second stage - a meeting with the Creative Director. That conversation also left a very positive impression, and at that point it felt like a really strong match. The third stage took place at their office. The meeting was warm: they showed me their workflows, introduced me to the teams, and overall everything went well again. At the end, they said they would give an answer within two weeks - whether they would hire me or another candidate. They also mentioned that “we will most likely see each other soon.” Of course, I understood that this was not a guarantee of an offer. Two weeks passed - silence. I assumed that processes sometimes get delayed, especially since they mentioned they were going through a very busy period. I waited another week - still no response. So I decided to send an email to check on the status - silence again. We are all busy, but replying to a candidate is basic respect, especially when it is the final stage. Two months passed. I sent a follow-up email asking for feedback so I could understand what to improve. As of today, there has still been no response. The company creates truly interesting creative work, but my communication experience during the hiring process felt very distant. It is hard to describe it otherwise. Especially when a candidate reaches the final stage and invests their time, attention, and expectations. I am sharing this not out of resentment, but as a reminder: transparent feedback and a simple “no” are also part of a strong employer brand.
