They reached out to me on LinkedIn and I had a phone interview. During the course of the interview, they informed me that they would be moving their headquarters to Foster City and were only interested in hiring people who lived within a certain radius. I would have to move house in order to work for them. I told them I would consider moving for a full-time, benefitted position. They never contacted me again. A co-worker had a similar experience - they told him he lived too far away and rejected his application.
