First I had to apply online and upload a CV and cover letter. Furthermore, you had to answer a number of questions online. Then I was quickly contacted (after 2 days) and invited to a Zoom Interview. After that I heard back the next day that they would not proceed with my application further. They did not tell me a specific reason, just that my qualities do not match the position. I wanted to get more information on what I could improve for my next job interview and offered to do an internship instead, but I have never gotten a response. Throughout the process, the HR Manager and the GM for Vienna were really nice and I felt that we had a good talk and was also pleased with the quick interview invite and the rejection. However, I think it is a shame that I did not get any response anymore, because as a young professional in the tourism industry in times of corona more feedback on how I did during the online interview or what was the exact reason for the rejection would have been really beneficial for me (especially since I asked). But I think it is a great company and I hope to visit it one day!
