I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ZipEdTech (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I had a two person panel at first, and then a third with who they told me was their boss. I was then asked to come for another interview a few days later, with the head of HR. All four people said that they really liked me. They had told me I was in good shape to be hired. I then waited for another week before being EMAILED that they decided to go another way, this was after I had emailed them to follow up on the status. They wasted my time and resources to get there and I was very upset to not get the offer especially after they had told me I was a shoo-in.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ZipEdTech (Santa Monica, CA)
Interview
The process took a little longer than expected, but it was pleasant and very transparent. I always felt as if I knew where I stood with the company at all times, which is, in my experience, unusual in the job market. It made me feel very positive about the company and the position I was applying for.
I interviewed three times in total; two in-person interviews (one via panel of supervisors and one with HR) and one phone interview with the company's CEO. After the phone interview, I was contacted by a recruiter and offered the position.
