Was quick and asked questions about work history and experience. Lasted approximately 30 minutes. Only one person conducted the interview. Was not too difficult. Was kind of informal and casual.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Ziegenfelder (New York, NY) in Jul 2022
Interview
The interveiw started off fine with the interviewer nice and seemingly professional. It went downhill fast with me first being interviewed for the wrong position. The wrong salary, benefit and bonus information given. Then when I told her my salary expectations she was surprised due to the incorrect material she had in front of her. Once the correct information was brought up was informed that the salary was significantly less than advertised. Advertised salary (18-22) real salary (16-18)
The recruiter was very unorganized for this interveiw and this makes me concerned as to how the rest of their operations run.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Ziegenfelder (Wheeling, WV) in Mar 2013
Interview
I first had a phone interview, with the Lead Designer and we talked about the position and all that was required and I talked about how enthusiastic I was to start working in my field and want I wanted out of that circumstance.
I was asked for a second interview, in person this time, and met the current Lead Designer, and we discussed the job's opportunities some more, and I professed my passion for design. We talked about more design and my background and what I intended on getting out of this position while I showed him my current work. He was very honest and transparent about why the position was needed and what all it would entail.
I then spoke with the President of the company and we talked a lot about how the company got to where it was today. We discussed passion and the family that was the company (both figuratively and literally). I showed her some of my work and we discussed my process behind it.
And eventually I met the VP of Sales. I think, if I'm remembering correct there were three interviews that day and then I came back for all the paper work and HR.
