Interview
This was a very odd interview experience. I was initially excited to be invited, but then saw it was a panel interview and thought, this should be interesting. I attended mostly out of curiosity...and, unfortunately, it played out exactly as I expected. The process felt disorganized and messy, with people scrambling to answer questions and very little clarity about the role itself. The only thing that was clear was that you'd be worked down to the bone. That, combined with the noticeable lack of diversity in the company and the one-star reviews I’d seen beforehand, made the decision pretty clear for me. I’ll respectfully pass.

Interview
It started with a group interview, which was awkward (people talking over each other, answering the same question one after another). Then I was asked to do a series of assessments. Finally, I was invited to a second round interview the Personnel Director.

Question 1
In the final round interview, the Personnel Director was very focused on the fact that while I have extensive teaching experience, it was not recent. She basically told me I was too old and out of touch to do the job.
Lots of practice scenarios, how would you respond, and traces of the we are going to work you to the bone atmosphere. Not the type of work environment that looks out for you.
