Pretty simple and straight forward. Asked about background, education and some knowledge questions. Mainly looked for someone who has potential to grow and eager to learn. Asked some basic questions about yourself, and why you want the job.

It was quick easy and hiring manager was very good at describing the expectations of the position. Setting up of the interview was simple and easy. Communication was clear and the process was simple.

After submitting an application, I was contacted by HR who does the recruiting, and was then forwarded to the Assistant GM (AGM was on vacation at the time of my hire so the GM worked with me instead) for new hire paperwork. Due to lack of staffing, I agreed to come in for this far sooner than expected.
Upon arrival, I sat for a good 20 minutes past our scheduled time. I showed up 20 minutes early. I was expected to fill in each form for him on his employee management system. I didn't have an issue with this since I type very quickly and have experience in navigating hiring systems. He was unsure of what he was doing for the majority of the process and had to ask his employees numerous times for help. I was given the opportunity to read numerous policy PDFs near the end of my on-boarding. I was familiar with most of them so I accepted each and requested they be emailed to me. I am 2 months into employment and still have not received them.
It is also worth noting that while I was filling in all of the paperwork the GM was sitting on his phone. I noticed him messaging people on Facebook and eventually showing me an entertainment app. While it doesn't bother me personally, his language was very vulgar throughout this whole process and his desk was cluttered with food-storage containers (this is against company policy).
The job posting stated that compensation was $9 - $9.50 based on experience. I have 3 years of customer service experience, which is the only relative skill-set for this position. I stated on my application that I required no less than maximum starting wage and in the interview stated that I would uptake any needed office duties for $10/hr. I was given $9/hr and no consideration was given toward my technical aptitude or customer service background.
Once the paperwork was signed and submitted digitally, he had offered to walk me through the system that I would be utilizing in my position. Instead, he had me sit at his desk in the sales team fishbowl and explore the system myself. I didn't have too big of an issue with this, but he then got up and left for about 45 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to find my way around the system.
Finally, after 2 hours, 1 of which was spent waiting, I was hired.
