Xeris Pharmaceuticals interview questions

I went through a multi-stage interview process (6 interviews) for the role. Overall, the team was professional, respectful, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet several members of the IT and leadership teams. At the end of the interviews, I was informed that I was considered overqualified for the role. However, I would have expected this to be identified earlier based on my resume, especially since I applied with full awareness of the role level and was open to adjusting my title in order to join the company and contribute, which would have helped avoid the additional time off I had to take from my current job to participate in the interview process. That said, I respect the organization and the team, and overall had a positive experience, but I would recommend clearer alignment during the early screening stage to ensure mutual expectations are set from the beginning.
