Interview
Pleasant interview if informal. Was a break from the standard interview questions. Invited for a job trial the following week during a 'carnival' style banquet.
Worked the trial for over 4 hours (for free). Just before leaving was notified that they were trialing others for the role and they would let me know the very next day as to the result of the trial,
It is now 2 weeks following on from the trial date and I am yet to hear a single thing from Wyboston Lakes. No replies to e-mails or telephone calls.
I don't consider my trial a failure. However I do believe in the common decency of letting persons that have worked a trial shift: the outcome of that shift and application. To hear nothing feels disrespectful.

Interview
I had one interview that was face to face with the manager. They read from a clear list of questions. With only asking the usual for any job working in hospitality and providing customer service. I didn't get a sense that I would explain my skills so used any opportunity to sell myself where I could.

Interview
The interview went very well and I was offered a four hour trial shift. I turned up for this and the person I was meant to be shown around by was off sick. I was shown what to do by another assistant and the shift was assisted by other staff from the building. I worked hard and well, with the other assistant commenting on how well I was doing and how hard I worked. I stayed longer than the 4 hours as there was nobody around to speak with. When someone did come to speak with me she told me I would hear in the next two days. It’s now over a week and they haven’t messaged or called me. I sent a message to them 4 days ago and this has been ignored. 4 hours of hard graft, no job offer or payment for the hours.
