Wunderkin interview questions

I applied through indeed with a cover letter and resume and the hiring manager reached out to me asking me questions that were already answered in my cover letter and resume. The communication between the two of us was inconsistent and it took days for her to respond to me at times. She requested to phone interview me and I was quick to respond and always made myself available ASAP. The phone interview with the hiring manager went really well so she decided to set me up with another phone interview with the quality control manager who I would be working under. That interview went really well also and they kept pushing me to the next phase and telling me I was ahead of other applicants. After completing the “trial bows” and asking to come drop them off at the home office, I didn’t hear from them for a couple days. I finally received an automated message through indeed saying they were “further along” with another applicant. I feel that they misled me with this position and told me things that weren’t true.

I was interviewed in person for about 15 minutes in a starbucks coffee shop after hearing the woes and gossip from the workers that were in attendance to the interview. The interview was very easy and I was given the job on the spot.
