Given a choice between multiple times and chose one for next day. Given reminder of time and who I was meeting before each interview. Interviewers were friendly, respectful, and clearly aware of company's standing. Met with potential supervisor (agent's assistant) and director of program separately. Interview was remote.

Interview
Book focused, went over assignment/readers review, trying to assess taste and reading interests, 2 rounds plus the manuscript review and very competitive with agents interviewing multiple candidates, timeline often unclear
For the first stage of the interview (about a week after submitting my resume), I received a manuscript to review and write a reader's report on (1 page summary, 2 page analysis). A few days after I submitted my report, I had a Zoom interview with my direct supervisor. That interview had very traditional interview questions, and took about 30 minutes. Two weeks after that, I was invited to a Zoom interview with the internship director. That interview was a little less formal--he wanted to get to know me as a person, so it was mostly chatting about books and the publishing industry in general. I received an official offer via phone the next morning.
