      HEAD CS Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Workwise GmbH (Amsterdam) in Oct 2025

      Interview

The process started with a video call with the recruiter, who did a good job trying to understand my background and where I might best fit. After that, I was asked to complete an asynchronous video interview, which felt somewhat poorly structured—the first two prompts were statements rather than actual questions. I then received a case study where I was told I would be challenged as if dealing with difficult customers. While I’m sure I could have performed better, the interaction itself felt quite scripted. The interviewer appeared to be reading from a fixed script and firing questions in rapid succession, which came across as intentionally difficult rather than realistically challenging. I was prepared for a tough conversation, but it lacked the authenticity of a real high-stakes customer interaction and felt somewhat overdone. Both interviewers ended the calls abruptly without closing the conversation, which I found unprofessional. There was also very limited space for questions on my side, partly because many questions were asked that I had already answered or was in the process of addressing. Overall, I’m glad I went through the experience and pushed myself, but the approach came across as somewhat rigid and impersonal. My concern is that this style may discourage strong candidates rather than meaningfully assessing their capability.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They focused on fairly basic questions, They create little room to actually get to know you as a person, They wanted a performance.
