      Customer Success Interview

      Apr 10, 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Wonder Research (New York, NY) in Apr 2019

      Interview

Interviewer setup the call for 15 mins. There were two people on their end, one a trainee. They frequently mis-quoted me and tried to fit what I was saying into their mind set. Both interviewers seemed distracted and purely trying to check the boxes. They didn’t answer my question (that’s right - one question- until they rushed me off the phone) directly and during the whole call it seemed like the focus of the call was to train the new recruiter - more than it was to assess my skills, personality, and potential contributions. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it was clearly a waste of my time and a bad a way to train a new recruiter. Teaching them bad practices and to box check applicants will not get or retain talent.
