The first interview was with the HR manager and was a relaxed conversation to find out more about me and my experience. The second was with the hiring manager and a member of her team. The interview seemed to go well and it would have been my dream job. Following the interview, I was sent a copy-editing test to complete. I realised I hadn't got the job when didn't hear anything further so sent an email to HR. I was then sent a standard rejection email. I realise they're probably too busy but it would have been useful to get a sentence or two feedback on why I was unsuccessful – whether the test wasn't good enough/there was a more suitable candidate/my experience wasn't quite right.
