      I interviewed at Whitney Museum

      Interview

This was a group interview. There were 5 of us in the room, all posed a question, and then had to speak up popcorn style to respond. The questions were all retail / customer service oriented, not about museum or arts experience.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What would you do if a pregnant woman asks to use the museum restroom while the museum is closed?

      Jun 23, 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Whitney Museum (New York, NY) in Jun 2016

      Interview

One group interview. I interviewed with three other people. The questions were only customer service scenarios. They don't ask about the museum or anything. They want to know mainly how you would handle various situations that might occur. After the interview, they separate all the interviewees and ask for your resume and application. Maybe at this point, they’ll tell you whether or not you got the job, but for me, they just told me I was free to explore the museum.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

A visitor has a child who is running around and almost runs into a piece of art. How do you handle it?
