Interview
The process involved a patterned, or behavioral, interview format. The questions were pre-determined and asked by a panel of five people who each had some interest in the position for which the interview was being held.

Tell us about a time when you either succeeded or failed at something. What did you learn from that experience?
Pretty typical for a field-based forestry job. Lots of experiential questions, educational questions, a lot of how-to questions. I would say it was more rigorous than other interviews that I have had.

the interviewers were very nice and easy to talk to but the questions were tough. I had to skip a couple and answered them at the end. Overall it was a difficult interview but the process was enjoyable.
