The hiring manager was wonderful, GK initials. The screening and interview went well and I would've loved to work with him. *However the next step was HR call and email stating the max pay is $$. It was significantly under my current pay scale, but I was willing to accept for the opportunity and growth was there. I expressed this along with my interest in the position and asked her to proceed with my application process. Shortly after I was told an internal employee was interested and basically case closed. The HR lady gave me an unwelcomed vibe. Very odd considering how well the hiring manager and I effortlessly engaged.
