I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Westaff in Sep 2018
Interview
The interviewers didn't have it together. They asked me about myself a bit, but didn't tell me much about the job. It came across like they already had someone in mind, but had to interview a few candidates as a formality. Bad policy, if so.
They did not contact me after the interview. More bad business. Would not work for an outfit this flakey.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Westaff (East Hartford, CT) in Feb 2023
Interview
One interview with "CEO" and another woman who didn't introduce herself or say who she was. They only asked one question and did not seem to care too much. The office was incredibly dirty and unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. It was also only staffed with young women with the only male being the "CEO" which is incredibly alarming this day in age and should be reviewed for inappropriate behavior. I was given an offer but when I asked for a few days to decide they immediately said, "We met someone else today and will have to rescind your offer". Extremely unprofessional and set off all sorts of red flags for the CEO Lou Corte and Manager Nicolette. The staff including the Manager Nicolette was dressed very inappropriately and not in a business manner at all. The offer also came with a contract to sign that was filled in with someone else's name from 2021. Overall this set off alot of alarm bells and I would be careful if you are applying here.
The owner of the location I interviewed with was unprofessional and inappropriate. Pretty sure he also discriminated because I mentioned I was pregnant. I still tried to power through ignored any inappropriate comments and still sent a thank you note but received no response whatsoever.
