I applied via LinkedIn and soon received an initial call invite with the Hiring Manager, Clara. From the very first call, she was friendly and transparent about the entire process. Since we were in different time zones, she was very kind in coordinating schedules and sending calendar invites that worked well for both of us.
After each stage, I received immediate feedback along with a detailed email explaining the structure of the next round. The entire interview process took around two months, which I believe was mainly due to the holiday season around Christmas and New Year.
One thing that truly sets Welltech apart from other companies I’ve interviewed with is how clearly structured and detailed each interview round was. I had a total of four interviews. The first was a mutual fit and initial screening call. The second round was a code review interview, where I was asked to review and improve an existing React frontend codebase.
The third round was a system design interview, where I was asked to design an internal service. This round included one senior engineer and one senior product manager. Both interviewers were very professional, supportive, and made a genuine effort to make me feel comfortable, especially when I had questions or needed clarification.
The fourth interview was with a senior hiring manager and was also quite smooth. We discussed topics such as my past projects, previous experience, my resume, and the challenges I’ve solved in the past.
In every interview, the last 15 minutes were dedicated to candidate questions, so I’d strongly recommend making the most of that time by asking thoughtful and relevant questions.
