The interview process was pretty easy, it was a single 1:2 setting and was done remotely.
It was rather straightforward, I brought a lot to the table in terms of open source contributions and was rather knowledgeable in JAMF, the role was described as primarily a desktop role though the company is looking to achieve ISO27001 and will embrace people who want to take on further responsibilities to help them achieve that.
I declined the offer in the end as I felt the salary (which they did raise to try and meet my expectation) was somewhat of a step back compared to what I was looking for, additionally I wasn't too sound on the organizational style (many teams working with clients each with unique setups), and the type of work/style was described as "like working at an MSP though everything is internal" as I'd already experienced MSP burnout from previous roles, hence maybe not the best fit.
Additionally, they did reach out to my references and asked for more, I wouldn't have been aware of the progress of my application had my references not told me they were contacted, there was a minimal amount of talk between the interviewers and myself post interview.
