Additionally, while the Application Security Engineer emphasized the need for someone skilled in breaking things, CISO later indicated they were not seeking a penetration tester. In JD they also specified need for someone with experience in Pen testing Confusion and unclarity CISO was just focusing on terms without actually wanting to know my experience. The security team is clearly unskilled and clueless. It was a very bad experience, and I expected it since none of the profiles of these guys were impressive.
