The hiring manager performing the interview was unprofessional, The interview was slated for an hour but he started the interview saying he will make it 30 minutes because he had other things to do. I had to set aside an hour of my time as well, but his things are apparently more important.
He starts the interview by saying "you are not a native of the region but you've worked here most of your time" said that because my name sounds foreign.....that is just unprofessional. He then proceeds to tell me that they are considering an internal candidate. Just wasting my time at this point.
They had no intention of hiring someone externally, I wonder if the position is even real. The manager didn't had any questions prepared, never asked any questions regarding my background, he only asked a couple of generic questions that I had already answered to the recruiter. He just rambled about his background and the company and expected me to lead the interview.
