      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Warner Bros. Discovery (London, England) in Feb 2025

      Interview

Alright, here’s something random: The interview process is kinda like speed dating but with fewer awkward silences (hopefully) and more questions about your weaknesses. But seriously, a typical interview process usually goes something like this: Application & Screening – You send in your CV, and if they like what they see, you get a call or an email. Sometimes there's an initial phone screening where they check if you're a real human and not a bot. First Interview – This could be a phone call, video call, or an in-person meeting. They ask about your background, experience, and why you’re interested in the role. Basically, they’re trying to figure out if you’re a good fit. Assessments/Tests – Depending on the role, you might have to complete some kind of test (like a case study, coding challenge, or in your case, maybe a marketing task). This step separates the "I just applied for fun" people from the serious candidates. Second (or Final) Interview – More in-depth questions, possibly with a panel of interviewers. They might test your problem-solving skills, how you handle pressure, or even throw in some behavioral questions like, "Tell me about a time you failed and how you recovered." Offer or Rejection – If you crushed it, you get the offer. If not, well… you get a polite rejection email (or worse, ghosted). For something like the Warner Bros. placement, expect a mix of competency-based questions, a group exercise, and possibly a creative challenge. It’ll be tough, but nothing you can’t handle.
