I started with a random cold call, followed by a Zoom interview and a home assignment. I dedicated two days to the assignment, and once I submitted it, a presentation meeting was scheduled to discuss my work. However, no one attended the meeting, and I was left alone on Zoom. When I contacted HR, they were unaware of the situation. The next day, the same HR representative called to ask how the meeting went, and then informed me they were not proceeding with my application. I received a standard email thanking me for my time and effort, but it seemed like they hadn't even reviewed my assignment. Overall, I felt disrespected and used.
