After submitting my CV to Walker Filtration HR department via email, I was promptly invited to a first stage interview at the site. On arrival, I found lady working on Reception extremely personable and I observed how clean and professionally branded the site was. I then met with an experienced HR Consultant for an in-depth interview assessing my technical and behavioural competencies for the HR Business Partner role. She indicated I performed well during this interview and invited another 2 interviewers to meet me. (I have been prepared for this in a telephone conversation the same week). I was then shown out of the building in a professional manner. Walker Filtration quickly advised that they would like to meet me again for a second stage interview. This time I met the Managing Director and Global Marketing Manager. I was asked further questions, to assess whether my skills, knowledge and attitudes were aligned with those required to be a success in the job role, HR team and organisation. I had the opportunity to ask questions I had prepared myself as well. I found the interviewers friendly and I was impressed by Walker FIltration's focus on recruiting talented people and supporting their careers. I received a job offer from the Walker Filtration less than four hours later.
