It was a 30 minute zoom call about my work experience with the person who would be managing the position. They asked me about my current role and past projects.

The initial HR screening was fine, but the interview with Executive Producer Miranda Kennedy was uncomfortable. Her rejection email was the most rude, dismissive and disrespectful one I've ever gotten. No surprise there seems to be constant turnover on this team.

This Exec Producer was hung up on "how many years of newsroom exprience do you have?" and ignored all of my experience producing PODCASTS.

Went from " we don't want to miss out on you" to being fully ghosted. Never heard from the recruiter again and wondered why that was, more than likely they already had an internal candidate for that role and the posting and interviews were just a formality, to say they did.
