I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Vons (Anaheim Hills, CA) in Feb 2011
Interview
it was during a job fair. the interview was very easy. the lady hiring was very nice. i felt comfortable. she told me to come back later that day. she advised that i wear nice clothes. i came back wearing nicer clothes. Me and one other guy were the only ones that were asked to come back out of about 30 others. she set up an interview with the store manager. he was not as friendly. he said she highly recommended you as if he didn't understand why. nevertheless he went on and asked me basic questions like availability, transportation, and told me what y uniform would be without even saying if i got the job or not.
