Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I'm not sure what role you applied for as we don't have any project managers.
The sensor exercise you mention is designed to test how candidates approach unfamiliar scenarios and how much they align with our Challenge Accepted value. As would have been explained during the interview, we don't expect any prior knowledge and coach candidates through the process, particularly for non-technical roles. We also include junior members of staff in many of our interviews to give them training and exposure, and we find their insight very valuable during the recruitment process.
