I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Virgin Active (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied directly to VIRGIN through their advert on LeisureJobs.co.uk. I applied on a Friday Evening and the Hiring Manager called me on Wednesday Lunchtime. As I missed the Call, due to being in another Interview, I was dismayed that it took nearly two Days to get hold of the Manager for a Telephone Interview.
Upon concluding the Telephone Interview was no hesitation in asking me to proceeding to the next stage, a face-to-face Interview the following Week.
I attended the Bradford site and met with the Hiring Manager directly, there were no other persons in the Interview which was held in the Cafe area behind Reception due to there being no Meeting Rooms at the site. Upon arriving I noted that each member of the VIRGIN Active Team seemed happy to be at Work and was very friendly.
The Interview itself was a very standard Interview with a number of Competency-based questions and after concluding the Interview I was shown around the facility. I asked for a tour rather than assume one would be offered.
As I was escorted back to Reception I was advised that there are still Interviews to hold and feedback would be by the end of the Week which would make the application process a little over two Weeks.

Interview
Email on one day and then two days later a group interview (40 of us) at their London office in Aldgate. Heard back the next day that I had not been successful.
