Disappointing Experience with Veritext - Would Not Recommend
I recently interviewed with Veritext, and it was an incredibly frustrating experience. What was supposed to be an interview turned out to be more of a group presentation, with multiple people giving vague overviews without actually answering any serious questions. When I asked for direct, clear answers about the job and its responsibilities, the responses were evasive and unclear.
The position itself is a contract job, but they expect you to pay nearly $4,000 upfront for your own equipment. There are no benefits, no support, and you’re basically left to figure everything out on your own. This feels more like an exploitation of contract workers rather than a legitimate opportunity.
When I brought up the poor reviews on Glassdoor and asked for clarification, the interviewer became defensive, dismissing the platform as “just a place for people to complain.” This response felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, the lack of transparency, unreasonable expectations, and defensive attitude left me with a negative impression. I would not recommend working with Veritext.
Do not waste your time with this unnecessary company.
