PeopleOps Manager contacted me directly via Linkedin, scheduled a time to talk, next day we spoke, I was encouraged to then apply via their web portal. Over the next two weeks I spoke to members of the team. It was a great experience, would have said yes and turned down higher paying jobs for the opportunity to work w/ creative minds! Out of the 30+ bay area companies I interviewed w/ during the summer of 2021, VBP’s process was the only one that spoke w/ me during the early interview cycle if I needed any special accommodations and what my pronoun preferences were. Unfortunately for me, another candidate was chosen. Genuinely wished them the best, will definitely keep an eye out if they have future job openings, and then took the job offer I’d been sitting on that pays twice as much for high level senior position 😅 If you have a chance to interview w/ VBP, don’t hesitate and do it!
