Initial 30 minute screening and discussion call, then a one hour interview with a supervisor/team lead, then a work assessment that can take up to 15 hours, then a one hour follow up discussion of the work assessment. The interviews themselves, though long, are straightforward and manageable. Everyone was professional and easygoing. The assessment itself is also straightforward, as it's largely just just using one of the company's software products and developing tutorial materials for it. There are some intentionally tricky sections and you're expected to ask questions if you get stuck. In fact, I was told that one of the reasons they ended up going with other candidates was because I was "too self-reliant" during the assessment.

The lengthiest interview process I've ever had (eight interviews in total). I also waited a long time for communication follow-ups. I got great feedback even though I didn't get the job.

The hiring manager reached out to me directly to schedule a phone interview with him. The interview itself was fine, although when asked about my desired salary, I asked what the budget for the position was and was told something evasive along the lines of "Veeva does things differently and takes into account a variety of factors" and I had to state a desired salary (I actually live in CO where it is required to provide the salary range). Then, after the phone interview, I never heard back again, even after following up to ask for an update.
