Not a lot of steps. Poor design, but understand why. Lots of testing thrown at you, as if you came right out of the books. Most is stuff you can look up, figure out if a good engineer. But obviously in interview setting you don’t get that chance.
1st round interviewer was friendly and knowledgeable. A few basic solid mechanics questions were asked. Other than that, I was asked a lot about extracurricular experience with my robotics team. Asked what kind of manufacturing methods we used and what sort of analysis we did.
