Interviewed with the fairly new CEO. He was quite nice but unfortunately not a good interviewer. He spent 90% of the time talking about the company, himself and his plans for the company. There was hardly any opportunities to talk about my experiences or sell myself.
I was told I would hear back in a few weeks, but never heard back - which is simply rude.
The back office itself is very run down and tatty - as is a lot of the store area.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Van Hage (Great Amwell, England) in Apr 2013
Interview
I was sat in an office infant of two senior members of staff. They explained the process, read me some questions whilst jotting down notes with a 'traffic light scheme' of marking and then said I got the job. I wouldn't say that the interview was particularly formal. I wore a smart dress but I would recommend that if you have long hair you tie it up, as I was asked to for my first shift.
