Going back to their words is a big red flag! In the beginning, we agreed on a salary range (posted on their job posting) and they confirm that my location (Canada) is good. However, after going through their interview process and an email saying they are preparing my offer, I got an email saying that remote work and exchange rate makes the salary we agreed in the very beginning impossible and therefore wish me the best in my job search. What a company!
Otherwise, the interview process is quite straightforward with 4 rounds and nice people in DS team:

Didn’t get to the behavioural round
Tech screen does have a lot of gotcha questions covering a wide variety of topics - spark, mlflow, ml, coding, git, deployment, system design. The interviewer seems to have a “know it all” altitude and trying to fill a position that spans 3 jobs.

Don't apply here, all of the previous warnings are correct. The recruiters will talk it up to you, then try to undercut your pay + so will the VR side too
HR screen + technical round + behavioral round
Lot of standard questions, be prepared to straightforward technicals + gotcha questions + rude interviewers
The pay may have justified the treatment if it was on the upper end of the payscale. There is a reason that this job posting gets taken down and reposted every month (it had been open for 2 when I applied, and is still open at the time of posting, even though I interviewed at the end of July/beginning of August)
