Vaco's recruiters are really unprofessional. I was contacted after I applied for a role, and an associate recruiter from the Cincinnati office emailed me and set up a time to call me two days later. He did not call at the scheduled date/time, and I had to reach out to him to ask if we were rescheduling. His response was rude and dismissive. No apology for not calling, when I was waiting for 30 min and prepared for the conversation. He said we would reschedule for the next day and then I never heard back at all when I provided my availability. Just a note, it was for a direct hire HR position.
I find it highly unprofessional to ghost your candidates and disrespect their time as if it is less important than yours. A firm who specializes in staffing should train their recruiters to ensure this behavior is not happening, because now I have advised all of my professional contacts who are job seeking to avoid Vaco.
