I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at VacayHome Connect (Montreal, QC)
Interview
The hiring interview was one of the smoothest I have ever had.It tool around an hour and it was an open discussion,no trick questions,no behavioral questions, the questions and answers were about what projects I had worked on in the past, what were my accomplishments, what VHC was looking for and what I can bring on the table as well as what the company can bring on the table.Very natural and unforced meeting.

Interview
Applied online through Linkedin. Linkedin told me the company looked at my application on Monday. Took 2 days to reach out to me and request for an interview. I found it a bit odd that instead of emailing me, I was messaged on LinkedIn. I also found it a bit weirder that though it was Wednesday, he wanted to talk the following week. I gave him dates and times. I didn't heard back by the next day, so I sent a follow up message. Still nothing. I know stuff happens and I would like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but really unprofessional to not get back to a potential employer and leave them hanging.

Interview
The whole process was relatively positive given that interviewing for new jobs is not typically enjoyable. Phone screen was reasonable. I was able to learn a lot about the company and what they were looking for as well as communicate what I was looking for. The company seemed to really care about not just if I was a fit for them but also if they were a fit for me. Later in the interview process I had time to chat with the whole team which helped me see the culture of the team. I was impressed that I even had time to sit down with the CTO which made me feel valued - at most other companies the CTO is too busy and doesn't make time for lower level employees. Overall, the process was what you'd expect for the position but a little less stressful as the team did a good job of putting me at ease.

Question 1
Determine if a string has all unique characters was the 'weeder' question. Once I solved that one, the interviewer had a slew of more challenging/interesting questions.
