I had two video interviews with members of the marketing team, after a brief email exchange. The meetings seemed to go very well. I had a good rapport with both people, and the technical and scheduling aspects of the meetings went smoothly. I got a good sense of how the team functions and I was able to expand on my experience in community management, a good bit of which is through volunteer positions that are not on my resume. The manager seemed excited and had good feedback, and the team lead was very forthcoming and we got along well. Then I got ghosted. I followed up a couple weeks later and was told they would have an answer the next week. That was last week. I don't anticipate hearing from them, which is disappointing because the job sounded like a great fit and because I would at least want a rejection after completing the interview process- on very short notice, while working, I might add.
